IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Recent studies within the US have shown that Highland beef is 4% lower in cholesterol and a 38% lower fat content than other breeds. It is a darker, leaner meat that highly compares to bison, venison, and the fat content of fish or chicken.

Highland beef is a slow-maturing meat, that when properly cooked and prepared, can taste even better than Angus! It is incredibly tender and has a very uniform marbeling overall. The flavor is rich in iron and pairs perfectly for grilling steaks, or seasoned burgers.

Our honey is locally collected from our very own Honey Bee's on the farm. We currently have 3 hives and expect to grow each year as we add to our pollinator acres. We pull honey from our bee's twice a year, depending on the growing season, filter it and package it for resale.

Our Honey is raw, meaning we do not cook our honey once collected from the bees. The pasterization process of honey often times reduces the medicinal effects that honey can sometimes bring. We encourage other to seek the natural properties that honey has to offer and therefore only sell Raw Honey.

Currently, we have a very large wild asparagus patch at our farm that we pick every year for canning. We also pick wild asparagus that is found in road ditches pretty much anywhere. We collect almost 200lbs of asparagus a year to can!

Currently we are uncertain of the exact names and types of apples that are in our orchard. Unfortunately when we moved to our farm, the orchard was already established and the previous owner was unable to tell us what they were. However we do have a map of the orchard and over the years, have developed a taste scale of each apple, when they produce and what they should be used for.

Currently we raise Cornish Rock Cross birds for meat production. This birds is incredibly fast growing, with plump breasts and wonderful flavor and protein content.

We have a supplier nearby that specifically produces pickling cucumbers for a large retailer. We usually order quite a few bushels from them, as we like to save our garden space for other sought after items. We do however raise a few of our own cucumbers to produce our famouse Spear Mustard Pickles that are to-die-for!

Yes of course! We encourage farm visits so you can meet us and our animals. We are always open to teaching classes whether it be honey extracting classes, or hands on education about Scottish Highlands and Gardening. Message us if you're interested in scheduling a visit.
